SUMMARY:Emergency Drill: Perfect Storm SJV
DESCRIPTION:Scenario: [THIS IS A DRILL] A cyber attack against critical infrastructure has brought down all common-carrier communications systems across the San Joaquin Valley Section of the ARRL. This includes land-line and cellular systems as well as the Internet. A second attack disables the power grid\, causing widespread blackouts throughout the section. Amateur Radio Participants are to shelter in place and join a Net to report their status to net control (K6NED) on the TCARES repeater system. Summarized status will then be relayed to a SJV Section Incident Command Post (ICP) Comms via Winlink Radio Net Log. \n\n\n\nThis is a joint exercise with the 13 counties in the ARRL SJV section. The counties are Calaveras\, Fresno\, Kern (east/west) Kings\, Madera\, Mariposa\, Merced\, Mono\, San Joaquin\, Stanislaus\, Tulare and Tuolumne.
