TCARES ham radio club will set up a public information and radio demonstration table at the 2022 Father’s Day Fly-in with other vendors and public agencies and organizations.
Will you volunteer? The information booth will be open for about 6 hours on each day Saturday and Sunday, can you work a 2 or 3 hour shift and help hand out flyers and demo radios?

8:00 am – Admission Gates Open
Admission for 2022 is FREE as the event is rebuilt after a two-year hiatus
9:00 – Vendor Booths Open & Rides Begin
At this year’s event, there will be B25, and tethered hot air balloon rides available!
11:30 am to 3:00 pm – Runway Closed for Aerial Demonstrations & Car Drag Racing
If you are flying in, we suggest you try to arrive before 11:30. Temporary tower frequency for the event is 134.7.
3:00 -3:30 pm – Flour bombing & Spot Landing Contest
Sign-ups and information for those who wish to compete will be available at the Info Booth.
5:00 – Saturday Night Dinner
The Sierras Table will be catering this year’s Saturday night dinner!
We are not pre-selling dinner tickets, those will be available at the event, on a first come first served basis! Cost is TBD per plate.
