SHAKEOUT DRILL: A big thanks to the 40 people that checked into the net from all parts of the County and other counties. The County GIS Mapping crew made amazing maps and kept updating as we conducted the 45 minute NET. (From Richard Combs) For Strawberry/Pinecrest Communities: There will be daily Neighborhood Radio Watch practice nets in Strawberry at the following times, note AM or PM. FRS/GMRS Chanel 7 Tone 1 After opening the net, it will be monitored for at least 10 minutes, so feel free to key up and check in. Friday Aug 12, 7PM. Saturday August 13, 8AM, Sunday August 14, 8AM and 7PM, Mon-Sat Aug 15-20 8AM. You are welcome to attend one, or all the nets. They will likely last not more than 10 minutes
TCARES ham radio club will set up a public information and radio demonstration table at the 2022 Father’s Day Fly-in with other vendors and public agencies and organizations. Will you volunteer?
